Geelong Play Space is a wonderful playground next to the Geelong Botanic Gardens. It was developed with an emphasis on providing a safe and enjoyable experience for kids with special needs. The result is a unique and fun area for kids of all abilities. It is set in a secret garden of sorts, where kids can explore and discover all sorts of things.
There are paths winding through the garden, secret tunnels, a pirate ship, scramble wall, musical footbridge and more set around a landscape that, as well as being beautiful and a great sensory experience, tells the history of Gondwanaland. In all, there are 20 landscape areas or features to find throughout the Play Space.
There is also a liberty swing in the Play Space. The key can be accessed from the National Wool Museum or Carousel in the CBD.
